Kombi Road Trip down the Great Ocean Road

One Kombi, an open road, waterfalls, the beach and plenty of sunshine… this was the combination for a perfect Spring day for our shoot! Ruby, Dane, Cameron and Demi joined us for some summer loving’. Robot Army was there to shoot the video and Stefani Driscoll was capturing the photos. Alice from Hire a Kombi was on driving duties for the day (legend!).

Scott and I have a family house in Lorne and a fondness of the Great Ocean Road so we handpicked our favourite spots to showcase in the summer giveaway.

We started off at Health and Hire Cafe (HAH) Lorne where the smoothie bowls are fresh and the salad bowls are delish (and the ice coffee is seriously delicious).

HAH cafe also hires out bikes, surfboards and stand up paddle boards… so we got a few bikes and cruised down the past the beach.

Our belly’s were full, the sum was warming our skin and we needed to cool off, so next stop was a dip in the Erskine Falls. These waterfalls are a hidden delight. The trekk down the stairs wasn’t easy for the camera crew but once we got there, the cool dip was really refreshing!

It was time to get in the Kombi and head to the best lookout on the Road, Teddy’s lookout. The views are extraordinary and the opportunities for selfies were endless (we didn’t set this up either.. promise!).

The open road was beckoning and we were having a blast doing it… there was even more places to discover. We will share that with you next time.
