“We may not be fluent in Italian, but we are fluent in Prosecco”
6Ft6 prosecco is how it should be; light, crisp and clean with citrusy lemon curd, pear and honey notes. It has a fresh, sherbet mouthfeel that’s smooth and balanced. True to style, this is seriously uncomplicated yet highly drinkable.
“Drink prosecco on two occasions: when it’s your birthday, and when it’s not.”
If your superpower is making prosecco disappear, we’ve got your perfect match. This prosecco is gonna capture a little bit of your heart and never let go. (Unlike other loves of your life, who don’t notice your new haircut or leave the butter on the kitchen bench, this prosecco will never let you down)
When doing a crossword and the clue is ‘happy’, our first thought is prosecco. Because there’s something about this pretty pink glass of delight that evokes a feeling of rainbows, fresh linen and laughter with friends. This vibrant drop is perfect to share or blend into a sophisticated sparkling cocktail. Salute means ‘to your health’ in Italian — we’ll drink to that!
Why 6Ft6 Prosecco?
It’s fast becoming our second-best seller (after pinot noir). In fact, our last two vintages have been a sellout.
Here’s what you’ll love about 6Ft6 Prosecco:
The twist top
We were the first Australian prosecco to be bottled in a stay-fresh screw cap, so you can keep your leftover bubbles longer in the fridge. Within reason of course, it lasts about a week, and better if you don’t open the bottle repeatedly. Now it’s easy to enjoy the bubbles in your prosecco with a single glass now and then — cheers!
The DMAC effect
Our winemaker, Dwayne (aka DMAC), is one helluva fusspot when it comes to quality, and it totally shows. We won’t get too technical, but Dwayne has a persnickety way of wanting things [just so]. And you know what? You can’t argue with results. Every business needs a stickler for quality like DMAC and we adore his attention to detail that makes our wines oh-so amazing.
Our prosecco is sourced from Victoria’s home of Prosecco, the King Valley. It was the first wine region to plant the Glera grape variety in Australia, and is a thriving winemaking region, renowned globally for its amazing produce.
For us, wine is about enjoyment — sharing a glass or two to connect with your special humans, and spoil yourself. Whether you are relaxing after a long day or partying with friends, we have the wine to match. We’re not about being snooty, inaccessible or using confusing language. We’re just an everyday farming family, making great wine and enjoying a few laughs along the way. Cheers to that, hey?
Vegans, raise your glasses, because all of the 6Ft6 range is vegan, i.e. it’s c-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y free of animal products. You’d think wine, being made from grapes, is always vegan — but not so. Learn more about it here, on this creatively titled article ‘Is all wine vegan friendly?’
We want to care for this planet — it’s the only one with wine! Sustainability has been at the forefront of our business since we started in 1982. Working daily on the land, we see first-hand the effects of climate change, and it’s devastating. We continually make improvements to ensure our footprint is kept to a minimum by:
- replanting trees on our property—we have planted over 10,000 trees since 1990
- using 100% recyclable packaging, which means our cartons are a little bit fugly but a lot more sustainable
- investing heavily in irrigation systems and vineyard treatments such as straw and natural soils to reduce unnecessary water usage
